The secondary goal of the case study is to describe the project manager's role, responsibilities and experiences. Ann White acted as the project manager for the team.

Supporting documentation for each phase of the project can be found in pdf format in the menu to your left.

The Team

Before Creative Element began investigating the photography industry and Visuals by Donni, it first had to establish some operations of its own. As a team we brainstormed for our own identity Creative element is comprised of 4 creative students from 3 different countries. There are 4 elements in nature. We pulled those concepts together to form Creative Element. Creative Element is a group of unique and talented students from The Art Institute of Atlanta. Although the build of the web site is structured in a class format, the experience closely mirrors what will be needed to build any web site in a team environment. Please see the supporting documentation for information regarding the specific team members.

The Client

Visuals by Donni is a creative photography and videography studio serving the Greater Atlanta area. Donni Conley has operated this studio part time for over 5 years. She would like to enhance her exposure in the market place and have an on-line presence to showcase some of her work. Creative Element will help Visuals by Donni to clearly define the direction and content of the site.

Project Manager's Insight

The team would need to produce a lot of documentation. As project manager, I designed standard templates for reports and documents that would reinforce the teams identity and insure that all documentation was consistent. These documents would exhibit good structure and organization, clear headings, page numbering and table of contents. I also developed status reports and agendas templates.

Each member of the team worked on different aspects of the documentation, but I was responsible for giving the documentation an overall voice.
